As of May 25th, I have officially spent 30 days in Vietnam, and what a journey it has been! My first month here has been a whirlwind, ranging from moments of fear to pure magic. Having never traveled to Asia before, Vietnam has offered me experiences unlike anything I've ever known. From the bustling streets of Hanoi to the traditional dancing in Mai Chau, I've been immersed in a flood of new sights, sounds, and sensations, doing my best to absorb as much as possible. Here are 30 things I've noted in my first 30 days.
The beds are hard. After travelling for 3 days, I was so excited to crawl into my bed at my homestay in Vietnam.
